We had to leave the car with Dave at Premier Paint Guard for a few hours, so Carl got a lift back to collect it. See paint protection post. On the way back his wife, who was following in the car behind, noticed that the indicators were not working. Well they were working, it was just that they were not flashing.
The hazard lights worked OK, and each indicator light was on, so we guessed it was probably a faulty relay. We checked it was seated properly, which it was, so we headed off to a local motor factors to get a replacement. It did not seem worth bothering Derek and waiting for one from Caterham.
The new unit fixed the problem. Total cost £9.83
